Does any body i have digichilli account that can give some feedback on the 2 concurrent connection and what the pings are like?

I don't think anyone has digichilli yet. They're waiting for telkom to allocate them IP's or some such.

Same here - I sent an email & there phone number does not work as well??? why start a service if you can't offer it?

any news on this? are they legit or is this just a too good to be true thing getting flushed?

Look at the bright side. At least people are not struggling with connectivity issues.

Is there more details information about digichilli's packages.. I mean, the info on the website in not very informative.. look at Afrihost! now that is information!

What speeds does the MILD - only R500 per month package allow(obviously it sounds and looks like a 384k package or is it 256k. Whats the point then!). What other advantages does this package allow.. What backbones are they using, do they have email, imap, smtp. what else..

I must agree, the site looks very cool, but it does not say enough, if they want to draw attention they should be open about what the actual products technical details are.

I would really like to have the uncapped Mild, but it sounds like it is only running at: 256kps, what is the point? why can't it run at 384kbps, it is not such a big jump? Look at the mybroadband article today to see why it is 256kbps

EDIT: I tried to sign up and was surprised to see that the service is not actually running, can't they say, "Comming soon! Register early to get your account! Limited Special!".

they need to start targetting the 4mbs users. I want to see a 384/512 burstable to 4mbs for around R450/R500, then i'd definately consider it, right now im stuck, because even tho their R300 uncapped sounds hot, it doesnt do me any justice seeing as I am on 4mbs line

I have a 384K line and would not mind and uncapped account just for 384K users.

Hey guys,

I have had a chat with the guys at DigiChilli. They say the MILD service is a minimum of 256K burstable to your full line speed. They also added a new service for R300 call Spicy. It only has 1 concurrent connection.

what does it mean to have 2 concurrent connections allowed?

More than one router can be active at a time, i.e. you can share the account with a friend living in a different house, suburb or even city. The speed, I assume, is also halved though.
