In the last 6 months my garage door don't always open when I press the remote's open button.
I've now found that if I jiggle the door up and down it sometimes resets (it sounds like the motor comes on for a split second when I do this).
Also, if I switch off and on AC(and battery) it resets.
Can anyone think of what could cause this problem? My uneducated guess is that some sensor is misaligned but that is it.
There are no safety beams and I do not have a wall console.
