Hi ,

If these questions have already been covered please point me to the correct place.

As I understand it -- getting Internet access on a diginet line from SAIX is a sure way to go bankrupt.

From my calcs the *carrier* side of things is not so bad -- the Internet access on top is what kills it.

Are there any other cheaper options for Internet access on Diginet ?

Other Question ;

WHY must one use only Diginet to access SAIX ?

Surely Frame Express should be a more affordable option ( depends on your minimum CIR )

Why can a couple of people not get together and "share" a diginet line using Frame Express (Virtual Circuits)
That way YOU decide the contention ratio -- and optimise the useage of the resource.

( Sort of like "Stokvels" )

Any ideas ?????

I have not worked with frame relay much but from what I recall it's kinda nasty implementing the routing for a hub & spoke topology.
