I am trying to find a fast, inexpensive digital camera. I would like to spend under $200. When I say fast, I mean in shutter speed and amount of time it takes to store to the card before you can snap a second shot. I have a young, fast moving toddler and my current camera is too slow to keep up!

I currently have about 5gig of xD media, but would be willing to change if that's part of the problem.

Would one of these two be sufficient? Any suggestions?

Thank you!

hmmmmm

the one from tigerdirect is a pretty good deal for a pretty good camera

You could also try bhphoto.com. The user reviews might help.

If you want fast ... go for Canon, or if you not in SA, go for Ricoh ... they're pretty big in some countries ... I got one ... if the flash is fully charged and not set to red eye reduction, the picture is taken in less then a second after I press the button. Slightly faster with no flash. But go for an Ixus 75 Canon, you can't miss out on speed with that.
