BMI-T is holding a forum on Municipalities implementing their own broadband infrastructure on 3rd and 4th Nov called 'Digital Cities Forum'. Our beloved minister of communications will be there. Looking forward to her speech! They will also have a tour on the 5th which will include a demo of Broadband over Powerlines at Rooiwal Village.
Hope this forum will drive the way for cheap broadband for us sometime in the future. Curious why Telkom is one of the sponsors though...
Fee is R5700/delegate which is out of reach for most of us unless you have been invited by one of the sponsors or work for the government.
