Digital TV?

Now that SABC is transmitting digital signal, what TV do we have to get to receive this? I cannot find a "digital ready" TV anywhere.

Your existing TV will work.

You will only need to get a decoder (set top box) that will connect to the AV or RF inputs on your TV. These will be made available in due course.

So SABC are broadcasting and 0% of the population can receive the signal for a few months?

Thats pretty much it.. yup... and try prob more like for at least a year and not a few months.

I hear they first testing the signal and STB's and making adjustments before release. This morning on TV they mentioned 12 to 18 months.
