I loved chopped also. And you going to laugh now, but loved Barefoot Contessa also hehe. :o
 
Theres like a million episodes, dont think ive ever seen a repeat.

But ye its good, those diners, drive ins and dives put some real effort into the food!

Eds is good. like really good, but there are 2 places that can beat it.

JB's in sandton city. there was a burger on the menu there that topped eds. but they removed it, moving JB's to third on my list (behind eds)

best burger is at Meat ect in benmore gardens.
fresh ground beef,
and a level of quality way above the rest.

take your favourite burger from eds, and then go compare it to a plain beef burger from meat ect.

sure you have other things, but the plain burger from Meat ect is so good, that it is better than the rest.

Should try it since it is up the road. George lea park make some good burgers also !
 
Ja if there's anything that will destroy your banting it will be this show.

Mouth watering stuff and I suspect majority good because otherwise they won't be in business?
 
Spoke to a dude who spent a month in the States recently and he says American food is overrated. Expensive, bland and it tastes the same wherever you go.

Would be nice to emulate those recipes and make them better.

I love the show and, yes, I ate at quite a few diners in the States.

On the topic, I have all the seasons from 1 to 21/22, with only a few episodes missed in some some seasons.
