I have a HP NX9110 notebook, that comes installed with Sonic's DLA (Drive Letter Access) that allows you to write directly to the media (normal copy/paste operations).

However, the DLA is malfunctioning. After copying a few files, say 5 Mb, it bombs out with an error that the drive is full! WTF?

Is there any other program I can use (I know about Nero's InCD)?
Oh, and the WinXP recording option has some instabilities with DVD+-R media, so I can't use that either

I've only ever used Nero so I'm kinda biased. :) Don't really know any other software you can use.

PS: NERO FTW!!!
I have an old copy of Nero 5, but the inCD doesn't want to work for some reason. I are confused!

IMO DLA is much better than InCD, cos with InCD you must use re-writeble discs.

Otherwise try Roxio, i think their DLA type thing is called Direct CD or something like that, but personally i hate Nero.

Aahh, DirectCD ... remember that from my previous notebook

EDIT: I have recordnow on my machine (came pre-installed), but no directcd :(

Try CDBurnerXP Pro 3. Completely free and works very well.

I have used it before, and I must say I like it alot! Can't remember, can you cut/paste to the drive, without creating projects?
