My 3-month old iPhone 5 disappointed as far as finding direction goes. So I visited the bundu experts who told me that a degaussing cable runs from behind our suburb to about 10km into the ocean, most likely a WW2 system to detect German U-boats. The bundu bashing boss says that no two compasses in our neck of the woods will give similar readings.
