Dirt 2 Lag

Hi people

Just want know when I play Dirt 2 on all the settings maxed out,the game sometimes lag for a second then runs smoothly for half a minute etc etc.It does this even when I lower the settings cause I was under impression that it was the card but now I don't know.Any ideas?

Then update it .
There is a patch for it that fixes the lag issue.

Strange, I get no lag. Cant remember my exact settings though but should be running 1920x1080, everything except AA at max. AA is probably set to 2x or 4x. Your GPU has the latest drivers? Though even with old drivers I never had a problem...

I had the problem with a non patched version of the game. (it was pirated) I bought it on steam and it all worked fine. I am guessing its because of the patches.

I had the cracked one as well, never lagged. Got the key for free with my GPU.
