Disconnected 02/04

iBurst will be an example of poor service coupled with technical incompetence leading to a short, sharp demise.

I've had about 5 disconnects yesterday and another 2 this evening (just now..)
What's really annoying is that these are somtimes happening in the middle of +- 100MB downloads from a server that does not offer a resume service..
Estimated bandwith lost thus far +- 200MB..
But I guess iBurst will still expect me to pay for that 'lost' data on my cap???

No change. Yet all is green as far as the iBurst web site incident reports are concerned. What a good thing I have a 3G backup. iBurst hasn't been very stable recently.

Disconnections are still continuing - had two already this morning latest @ 12:10 Gardens Tower, Cape Town.

What might the cause be Shaun?

Regards

Mike
