Disconnecting Mecer Router

I bought this new router(Mecer ADSL 4 port router) and set up everything and it working great execpt it stalls the internet connection every 5 min, it's really irritating and it woould be awesum if any of you know how to fix this, pls help!!

Backup your settings and try resetting the router via the pin at the back of the router and reconfigure it. If this does not work, reset it again and do a manual reconfiguration.

Anything special I should look for when reconfiguring?

Well only the settings you need for ADSL. Such as firewall, DHCP, port forwarding and your ISP details.
