hi guys i got to a point where i can't handle this anymore, EVERY morning or after a long shutdown my two router lights flash and is disconnected. then i have to unplug the dsl cable from the wall socket, plug my telephone line in, pick it up, unplug telephone and plug dsl back in, in order for it to work. i mean WTF is telkom doing and why is this happening.

your help will be appreciated.

i have two, one is a "ADSL Router Broadband from telkom" and the other is a "ADSL 5102G" static ips on the 5102G nothing solves this F@#% problem

First you should blame Telkom. Second you should get a real router. I reccomend anything that doesn't have Telkom written on it, or even anywhere near it. Every new client I get I replace the router and that resolves 90% of their internet related problems.

If your router is less than 12 months old, take it back to a Telkom office for a new one. Tell them about your sleepless nights and they will gladly replace it (happy on the outside, ready to kill you on the inside)...

i dont use telkom as my isp, think they will still give me a new router :/
