I've been having occasional disconnects since this weekend. All connection is lost, then it comes back up again at first without internet connectivity, and then back to full connectivity within a minute of disconnecting.

The router (Billion 5102G) logs for a disconnect that happened a few minutes ago:

I've tried a soft restart and leaving the router off for a while, but the problem persists.

I may try a trial account with another ISP tonight to see if the disconnects stop. Can anyone with knowledge of this type of issue narrow it down?

Line stats are pretty good. Still there could be many different reasons for the disconnects - there could be some maintenance happening in the area, ISP may have been experiencing issues, local interference or borked modem. Try and eliminate all issues that you can control first like trying a different ISP account, trying a different modem, replacing network cables, etc. If problem persists take up with whoever manages your line.

Going to try the ISP option first, then Telkom, and if all else fails, try a new router. Thanks.
