I want to transfer euros to my SA account. I checked rates and with Wise I'll probably get R2-3k more. I know a lot of people say Wise is really good but I've also seen some negative experiences with money been frozen. Wondering if it's worth the risk?

I’ve been using Wise to transfer my salary (Euros to ZAR) every month for a few years and have never had an issue.

alternatively buy crypto in eur buy crypto cash out in SA at the 1-2% prem - score.

I've been using Wise every month since January, having used PayPal for over 10 years prior to that. Wise is the way to go, no problems at all, significantly cheaper and better exchange rates.

Have used Wise for a few years. No issues but I don't keep the majority of my funds in Wise either incase of potential issues.
