I recently started gap cover and this is the first time claiming from it.
I received a statement from them now and I just wanna check if I'm reading this right. Snippet below
So the "Health Claimed Amount" is what the specific line item cost. "Health paid amount" is what normal discovery health paid to me. My question is: Is that "Amount paid to you" under the "Claims paid from Discovery Gap Cover" the amount that gap cover will be paying to me?
Please make my day and say yes, because discovery health only paid like 30% of the total bill. If I'm getting more from gap cover then that would mean an additional 50% is being paid from gap and I only need to pay 20% out of pocket.
