Discovery HD Channel

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the noob question. is there any way to hide the non HD discovery channel now that DSTV has both normal and HD channels running the same shows? it is quite annoying to go to channel 121 and then go to the HD channel after this.

Mine too. I power mine down when I go to work, so when it boots up, it does a rescan. I suspect they also need to do this.

I haven't been watching much TV lately (lots of work I'm catching up on) but recently heard about this, but has losing the Discover HD Showcase Channel in the place of the HD version of what we had before, been better or worse? - Do we still get the same programming on both channels?

Mine went away now, only have the HD channel now. I dunno hey, I kinda miss the showcase channel. Had better shows on it. Should rename Discovery channel to Auction Channel. Useless auction shows all the time!!
