I also found out something interesting. If your company is not subsidising your medical aid and you paying for it from your GTC and monthly, just take it out on your name, you would save upto R30 000 a year!!

I'm a little thick in these matters - could you explain in more detail where the saving comes from? My Coastal Core plan is paid from my salary by the company and is not subsidised.
