Discovery Insure

I'm learning to despise Discovery Insure. Monthly cost started off 1200-ish, now they want R1600 2 years later, despite the car being older and me having paid them a pot of money.

Has anyone moved over to Discovery Insure yet?
Interested to hear anyone's opinion if you are with them?
I'm interested in looking into it, but trying to get my head around the "big brother" type device they install in you car. Apparently you will earn driving points based on your style of driving and can earn up to 40% off your petrol every month (paid back into your account?)

I did this. I regret it now because every time I driver even a little faster than usual or take a slightly sharp turn, they send me a sms or phone me. Got to be a pain in the butt eventually. You have to drive like LaraC on valium to even hope to qualify for the 40% fuel-back.

The tracker did do me some good once when my vehicle got lifted from my yard by an unscrupulous tow-truck company. I called them and within 10 minutes 4 armed dudes with semi-automatic weapons had their boots on the thieves faces after a car chase.
