Discovery Vitality and Virgin Active

When you join Virgin active via discovery vitality then you pay your set monthly fee which is anywhere between 80% and 100% discounting.

The rest of the usual fee.. does that then get covered by Discovery Vitality? Does Virgin give them a discount because of the large company they are? A mass wholesaler discount for the amount of people that join via Discovery?

How does Virgin Active get their money out of the deal if they had a gym with 100% Discovery Clients?

I would imagine discovery could pay the difference i doubt they are paying what the average walk in is paying but virgin being so cheap is very good for discovery, means tons of clients because virgin charge 450.00 a month, discovery is 70 bucks possibly 150 if you want more than one branch but it is an enormous saving.
