Whats your router syncing at?
Attenuation and noise readings?
Do all other lines have filters on them? telephone, fax, alarm?

And if you connect on any other ISP its fine?

That seems more like a line problem than an ISP problem to me. Perhaps get Telkom to reset ports or something? Does the router sync right?

I mean, the bulk of people on Mweb are fine - just ran a speedtest here: 2933kbit/s, ping at 44ms. Not ideal 4mb link, but no complaints here. Torrents flying at 310kb/s.

I normally go at about 200kb/s on download protocols, and full speed on http downloads.

This morning however I seem to be going full speed on the download protocols (torrents, nzb's)

How do the MWeb uncapped counts perform on LIVE video streaming sites? Do you get the full speed, therefore without buffering on live video cam feed sites like justin.tv and ustream.tv ?

I've used justin.tv once or twice without any issues. Youtube always flies anytime of day and gamespot game review videos stream at speeds between 30kB/s and 400kB/s depending on which video I'm watching.

Edit: Oops, just picked up on the LIVE streaming bit. At least I mentioned justin.tv

Its getting worse for me.



on a 512kb/s line.

And its not like this with other ISPs, I was getting better speeds off afrihost.

I watched inter vs livorno on sopcast two weeks back with no buffering. Youtube also works fine 99% of the time,occasionally there is buffering with hd videos .
