Disk Cloning

I need to clone an HDD, is there a decent free tool out there that I can use? Must also resize as I'm cloning from a 250GB to a 320GB

Clonezilla. It's not super easy but once you figure it out it works a charm. I always used Ghost in the past, but the latest version is just plain cr@p, bloated and pretty useless for this kind of thing now.

+1 to GParted, I also use Windows Disk Management in Vista/7 if the partitions don't need rearranging with GParted.

The latest version? I stopped using it at around V10 (ish). At the time it was the benchmark. I used it all the time, with images stored on servers being pushed down to the various PC's that required them. We recently tried the latest version (forget the number) and it's so weak it's not even funny, rather useless for our use. So we changed to Clonezilla and all is well again in Nerd Paradise.

Thanks again guys, I used Clonezillas advanced options because there were bad sectors on the source disk which kept crashing the clone.

Took 3.5 hours to clone a 250GB disk but it's running like a dream.
