i've downloaded an update for final cut which took about a day (proapplicationsupdate). after the download, i double-clicked the .dmg file but it gives me an error "error -4960".
i've tried repairing it in disk utilities but that tells me that the disk image is not mounted and doesn't do anything after that.
is there another way of repairing or getting the .dmg file to work or would i have to spend another day downloading it?
would really appreciate any info.

As far as I know it's corrupt and you going to have to re-download the .dmg... sorry bud.

*if I'm wrong, I hope someone here will be able to correct me... I've gone through this a couple times myself and it would be nice to find there is a solution to this?
