I'm guessing you mean like a DVD image?

Daemon tools if you need SafeDisk emulation etc, & can deal with a bit of sketchiness. Virtual CloneDrive in all other cases.

A great, free, opensource one I use is WinCDEmu.

It's so tiny it won't slow your pc down, or clog up your hdd at all, and installs in a flash.

I'm using Gizmo Central for burning, mounting and creating ISO's.

I've used daemon tools in the past, but once had a serious of serious errors caused by the driver from daemon tools. After that i used magicdisk. Worked wonderfully, BUT still weren't happy. Then got virtual clone which my university suggests to us. Never ben more happy ^_^ Fast, smooth and no hassles whatsoever.

I suggest virtualclonedrive!
