disk thrashing - ffox2.0

Getting a lot of disk thrashing today whenever I start up Ffox - any ideas

Sounds more like a HDD problem, but perhaps something corrupted in the browser cache - perhaps clear the cache...

thanks -will give it a go - strange thing is sometimes after closing the browser still appears in task manager
