Disney CEO resigns from Apple board

Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger resigned from Apple Inc.’s board, a sign of increased competition between the entertainment and technology giants.

Apple said in a Friday regulatory filing that Iger quit on Tuesday.
