What will I need to get Disney plus working? I don't see an app when I go onto play Store. Its not available in SA so will a VPN server work. Has any one watched Disney plus
 
ah thx for reminding me, want test this.
 
The biggest hiccup I came across was the payment method... Can't just use your sa credit card...
 
You can setup an international PayPal account and link your south african credit card to said account..
Been using Disney plus for the last 2 months and it's works great...

or just go tpb/nbz: I'm not going to jump through hoops of any kind, if they can't be easily subbed to / added to my tv, then good luck with that.
 
I pay mine through Google Play Store, and use SmartDNS Proxy to watch.

Yes it is very possible with a few work-arounds.

First, get a good VPN service. you will need one to open a US PayPal account ad for Disney Plus. I use Private VPN as they have a server dedicated to Disney Plus, Hulu and a few other streaming services.
Activate your VPN and click on a server in the states. Preferably New York.
Go to PayPal's webpage (www.paypal.com) and ensure that you see the word US in the URL.
Click sign up.
Enter your normal e-mail address when signing up, with a strong password.
Enter a fake US address and contact number. (Google can assist with this)
Add your normal South African credit card or debit card details. (The site will assist you with loading a card) Ensure that if you have a South African PayPal account that you do not use the same card or the system will pick it up and not allow you to use that card.
Once this is all done, close PayPal.
Keeping your VPN on, go to Disneyplus website and sign up.
You will get a 7 day free trial.
When they ask for billing info, simply choose PayPal and off you go.
You will need to download the APK for Android devices.
You will need an American Itunes account to download the App from iTunes.
 
had some password reset loop thing going on with my paypal, had to wait to today to get it reset. will try again later

Mine asks for a US phone number, how does one go about doing this?
 
use google to find a shop nearby where you fake address is, and use that number.
