Distance between router and PC

What is the maximum distance between a router and a PC that you can go with a RJ45 connector and where can one get such connectors?
 
A LAN cable can go to as much as 100 meters, keep it to 90 meters just in case. RJ45 connectors can be bought at almost any computer reseller.
