University of London

It depends on what course you want to study.
A lot of the local universities offer financial and business courses via correspondence but if you want to study a BSc then it's basically a choice between UNISA or overseas universities as none of our local universities appeared to offered BSc IT courses via correspondence.

UNISA doesn't even feature in the QS University Rankings.
In comparison the BSc Computing and Information Systems (via Goldsmiths, University of London) and has a QS ranking of 99 which places it in the top 100 universities worldwide.
KZN University's score is 301+
Wits is 399
Stellenbosch is 401-450
Tuks is 501-550

....

Cannot find them on 2013 QS at 99, they appear in 401-450 and for 2013 only Social Sciences & Management and Arts & Humanities are given a ranking.

EDIT: I'm trying to downplay Goldsmiths as I'm thinking of doing my post graduate studies through an international university in 2015.

Darn ... I did the search for them a few months ago and I'm sure I saw them at 99 for the Science faculty.
Looks like the info is gone so now it's just the easy faculties that are being listed. :)

thanks to all who contributed.
What are the int universities' prerequisites?
I am interested in completing ndip or bsc in IT or electronics

im registered with unisa but a failed subject is preventing me from doing any other modules for the whole next year
(access cource)

Do you still get a "perfect" South African varsity?

Well where the Afrikaners still run universities they are top notch - Tuks and stellies come to mind.

And no I'm not Afrikaans :)

Completely baseless assumption, though I'm not sure what message you're trying to convey here.

Is the English language hard to understand? I said where the Universities are run by the Afrikaans they have a high standard.

Can't make it any simpler, sorry.
