Distributor warns against buying outdated solar panels

Like all things in life, not all of us can afford the best. You pay your money and you take your chances.

While I understand the statement. I just can't.

Buy once cry once. Save up a bit longer or make a plan. Some things are worth the money.

I have JA 460w panels. 1 year in. No noticable drop in generation. @AchmatK you had solar longer than most, thoughts?

I think Arthur and myself are the oldest. My 330w are still perfectly good 14 years later.
My system throttles most of the time though, so i don't know the state. Batteries are full 99% of the time downstairs where the older panels are mounted

I may add another string of 550w though, as i have space on that roof. Currently at 13kw worth those, so not needed, but i may need at some point if i add a/c
