As mentioned in my other post, my bill spiked to a whopping R1400 this month from a consistent R450 per month for the past year. Neotel charges R0.08 per meg and I’m on the R299 package. So R1400 – 450 = R850 extra usage. 850/0.08 = 10 625 Meg which is roughly over 10 Gb extra! I have a rough idea of my data usage and there is no way in hell I used that much. I had numerous slowdowns, actually, coming to complete stop in data transfers from just browsing simple websites that I cou’dn’t be bothered to stay online anymore.
Contacted the call centre tonight and enquired about my billing as my account statement was still not sent to me. The callcentre agent could not locate the October billing on his system and is not sure where it is, and there is no info on his system to indicate last month usage. Now, I come from a strong financial background and was wondering how the phuck can they charge you something they don’t know!
Account statement is sent every 6-9th of the month which I assume is also the cut-off date for monthly cycle usage. My R1400 debit order was deducted on the 1st Nov. And the callcentre agent has not gotten back to me which is quite typical really – “Eish, if I ignore deh prob-lem, maybi it will go eh-way, he he he”
Phuck you Neotel! You phuckers make the abhorrent, incompetent Telkom look like the phucking Japanese!
