Heya

I'm having trouble at the moment in my flat with ADSL. I run my router in bridged mode so that the two people in the flat can each have their own ISP and connect and disconnect as much as they want. The only problem now is that when one downloads the other one's connection is killed. Its reaaallly slow and the latency sucks with online gaming. Anyone know a way to basically give both people a certain amount of bandwidth? e.g 384 line split up in two, one person gets 192 and the other 192. :o

download a application called Netlimiter

Depending on your line speed u can limit the download and upload rates.

Then u can limit your downloads to 25kb per sec, on the application thats yur downloading with. Giving the other person on that ADSL line the rest of the speed, or at least leaving enaugh bandwidth free for u an the other person to do some gaming aswell

it has nothing to do with the multiple logins, it will always be capped to 384. also, first person to download hogs all bandwidth. Netlimiter ftw

ok can someone maybe explain the steps to do so? I'd have to go into the network and limit each IP to 192k. Thats all i want to do
