DIY 3G Signal booster

Anyone having weak 3G signal might want to try this home made signal booster i am still going to try this, i am not getting good signal with my cell C moderm , i will give feed back later , here is the link for the info :

The trick would be to know where the tower is, and to get the right shape of strainer.

To those who PM'd me. This above, is basically a plastic bowl. Covered with a 6 layer tin foil. And a hole in the center (presumably focal) has been drilled. And the back of the bowl is sprayed black. Try pointing your modem to different directions and see where the best signal is (best way to do this is to do it when downloading something).

nice to see ya'll a hackin. you can also use a pringles can for very high directionality, with increased distance.

It's been done everywhere, it's an excellent waveguide for its price.

To OP: the foil shouldn't make much difference as the mesh on that strainer is way closer than the signal's wavelength

it works guys just did the experiment and my signal was -85dbm and now using my booster its -69dbm , just did speed test
...
2) without booster

I wasnt mocking, it was just funny. I might try it, I get -87dBm
