DIY car alarm installation

Hi there

Anybody know where you can buy a car alarm kit and install it yourself?

Want just a basic alarm which'll go off when any door is opened...

Klaxon siren wired into the light circuit, when door is opened and light goes on, siren sounds

Haven't installed one of those myself,I did however do a Immobilizer/Alarm DIY combo without too much difficulty

yeah autostyle will sort you out, another option would be to have a sound shop supply and install it

Building an alarm for a car is so easy I am surprised that some will still refer people to the likes of AutoStyle to be ripped off...

Libs get one with a magnetic sensor somewhere beneath the panels. Then attach a magnet to your keychain & use that to deactivate it. If properly integrated into the car electronics its pretty much bulletproof.
