My brother's car has a few dings in the front bumper. I want him to sell it and get a new car.

My thinking is, is that if the car looks nice and straight, I can ask for a higher price when the time comes to sell.

Now, I happened to dream up an idea that I can put the new bumper on myself, and save myself some cash.

I found a replacement bumper from Autostyle for R350. All I would need to do is to sand it, prime it and then spray it. Then attach it to the car.

Question is, does anyone know where I can get automotive spray paint from?

Autostyle should be able to point you in the right direction, or possibly even get it sprayed the right colour for you.

How old is the car btw? Cos if its old, you will battle to match the colour on the car current.

He'll battle to get an exact match anyway. Automotive paint's final colour depends on factors like humidity, temperature and probably a myriad of others. Getting colours to match is VERY difficult.

The car is a 1990 Toyota Conquest. Its a bluey-gray colour.

What am I looking at to get it professionally done?

What city are you in?

Because there's a fair difference in the cost of labour, depending on which city you live in. Jhb tends to be a fair amount cheaper than the smaller places.

Oh because if you were in Cape Town I could have pointed you to a place that could maybe have mixed the paint properly for you. I can't remember their name but went there a while back with someone and they seemed pretty good, was in Ottery if I remember correctly. What I do remember is that they were part of the Chemspec group, maybe take a trip down to your nearest House Of Paint and ask them for the automotive paint specialists within their (Chemspec) group.

And like Mesugga said.
