Story again, Telkm wants me to replace the conduit before they come replace the cable.

I cant find the damn existing ones. Can i just dig a new trench install the conduit from the manhole of telkom and to a spot where i want the dsl line. And put a box inside the house where the cable will come out?

Taking it a step further can i just lay the cable too?

Yes by all means fit a new conduit. But put a draw wire in it, so Telkom can pull their cable through. They like using mylar covered cable since it is UV proof and more robust and the conductors are 0.6mm

How are you going to terminate the conduit in the Telkom box?

Thanx... Ja should i? Or just pull wire to there?

Just put in the conduit to the point where you want the jack inside the house. Telkom will do the rest (Pull cable, terminate, etc)

If you are gonna put the conduit in you might as well pull the cable through as well.
