I have a DL380 G6 and a DL360 G8. Now i want to take two SAS drives from the DL380 and put it in the DL360 but the HDD casing is diffrent.
When i say casing i mean the piece you screw onto the HDD then the HDD just slide and clicks into the HP server. HP cant sell me these casings so, i would gladly buy a DL360G8 casing from someone if the have extra's or if you can source it somewhere and it doesnt cost the same as buying a new SAS drive.

Hope this makes sense

Thanks i got a quote from Africa PC for a R1000 ex vat for one of those caddy's

You know that's (near as dammit to fsck is to swearing) ten TIMES what getting some in yourself would cost? :wtf: (when I go for the ones I plan to get for a server I want to populate I am sure as hell going to get my own, a pox on rip-off prices like that!)

Update: turns out there's a crowd called IT Spares who want a somewhat more reasonable R675 for them.
