i am hoping someone here is able to assist. I am having issues with my wireless dropping on my router. firmware is up to date. i can see from the logs, that everytime the wireless drops, i have an intrusion detected in the log.

my machines themselves are safe, but the wireless constantly dropping every 10 - 20 minutes is getting out of hand now. i have seen people with similar issues, but no one has come up with an answer that has helped me with regards to this

I have a suggestion, Under Wireless Security Settings change your WPA Mode to Auto WPA/WPA2 and WPA Group Rekey Interval to 3600. The kernel intrusions should not affect your wireless connection

I have a hint... scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on one of the many similar threads regarding this issue.

From what I recall it requires a firmware update.

A firmware update didn't solve that for me. I had to change the channel width of the wireless from something else to 20Mhz. Thread I posted on the D-link forums is here.

It solved it for me, but I'm not sure if it's the correct way to do it.

IMHO I couldn't get it right with firmware updates.
