DLink 300T modem connecting, authenticating, but no access.

All of a sudden I can't seem to do anything with my connection.

My friend that lives with me can log on to skype. But Nothing else.

(Weird that skype works...)

(Tried some tests on the modem, don't really know what they are though... F4 END = success, F4 SEG = Failure, F5 END = failure, F5 SEG = failure)

check your dns settings if you are recieving/assigned an ip address

Definetely DNS issue... try setting static DNS to 196.25.1.1 and see if it works. Or use nslookup to check comms.

well thats(dns server above) assuming he is using a saix based isp.
