Dlink DSL-2750U Port forwarding?

Using Dlink DSL-2750U I have UPnP on and if I test the ports that were opened by UPnP, they are open.(http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/)

If I manually insert a port to forward and then test it, it is still closed. Any advice?

What ports are you opening and where is being forwarded it to?

Are you sure everything is configured correctly with your forwards? Example: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Dlink/DSL-2750U/HTTP.htm

Here is an example of the ports being forwarded:

The two top ones were created by UPnP. If I test that port it is open.

The bottom one was created by me. If I test that port it is closed. I find it very strange?

Just remember that the port will test as closed if you don't have the application running on that port yet! Like you first need to host the game/application on the port that you forwarded before it will test as open.

Well, I'll be! You are never too old to learn. Did not know that.

Just terminated uTorrent and the port was closed. Started uTorrent and the port was open again.
