Dlink DSL-2750u unconfigured setting issue

Also check if it's a telkom branded router, if it is it will have a TK at the end of the model number, as for the firmware for that, i am not sure if it's still available as d-link has taken their ftp down AFAIK.

Version 1.69 for that specific router is available here

I flashed my one that I got from Telkom with the normal firmware and it worked. Just check which hardware revision yours is at the bottom.

It did? Awesome! Could you walk me through the procedure? I've been having a hard time getting it right, dunno what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

If you still can't get it to work after a firmware update, perhaps it's time to upgrade to a brand that offers 3 year warranty.

ASUS DSL-N14U

If Takealot reviews can be trusted..

Really good router. Has a lot more features than other routers at this price range such as cloud access, USB support for hard drive, printers or 3G dongles, regular firmware updates on the router and guest access. The setup is quite straight forward. Range is good. Even setting up external access to my home server was a breeze. Has AIcloud app to access devices attached to router.

Will definitely continue to purchase other Asus routers in the future."

1. Ascertain hardware (hw) revision and download correct firmware.
2. Download firmware.
3. Log onto router.
4. Upload firmware and router will flash.
5. Profit.

Just don't do this via wifi...

Was there a positive outcome to this thread as I am having this exact issue with Telkom/Tellumat branded ver AF_1.63_T10 of the D-Link DSL-2750U router which hasn't given me a day of trouble since new 3 years ago ?

Success after a Firmware Update from AF_1.68_T10 to AF_1.69_T10.
the trusty router even kept my PPPoE settings through the firmware update.
I am still not convinced this was the issue though, as Telkom are working incessantly on the lines in the area...

Could someone post the URL of the port forwarding tab please. :)

You can remove your ip and stuff just need the information after "/"

If you hover over the tab before clicking it should show up. TIA

Also if you right click on the tab and select "Copy Link Location" (Under Firefox)

Trying something remotely and only the support login is available so cant see the port forward tab :)

Double check you've got connectivity, normally when mine states unconfigured it cannot connect to the ISP.
