i am on iburst wireless, and almost this whole morning i have been having strange issues with some sites loading on IE
in the beggining i was getting DNS erros, that seems to have stopped, now if i have more than a few pages on IE then trying to load another doesnt work - in other words, it just says it is loading the page, but doesnt actually.

any ideas, is it IE, iburst or does it sound like something else?

thanks

I've been having the same problem, but mainly with Facebook.

Also using IE. Don't know if it's a Facebook or iBurst problem.

Anyone else?

thanks, but the DRTCP i have says win xp, and i have vista, is that gong to be a problem?
and why would those values disapear when i know i have put them in before (IE - the MTU space is blank) ?

It's not IE, because I have been getting the same nonsense using the Chrome browser. I tried a continuous ping to 196.2.97.234 and the packet loss is anything from 2% to 50%. I just assumed I had a bad signal (60%).

Try using the DNS Benchmark utility from GRC http://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm and see what DNS performance you are getting. Mine is pretty sad.

Thanks for the MTU tip.
