DNS Problems confirmed
Just spoke with my ISP. They confirmed there ARE DNS related issues in Cape Town at present which is affecting a number of users.
The best part is he gave me some static Primary and Alternate DNS IP addresses to put into my LAN TCP/IP settings and it WORKED
I suggest you contact your ISP for the DNS for your network.
I'm off to work on my Trade Skills in WOW.

This could have something to do with the fact that SAIX is the only major ISP not connected to the JINX where all the South African instances of the DNS root servers are.
Without the DNS root the rest of the DNS tree will be pretty borked...
