Because if you phone Technical for it, you first the treated like a criminal. Then you get asked why "the shock!" you would want to configure anything like a firewall, software router etc.
Finally I was then told - and this is golden - "you dont need DNS settings for your connection. " So I asked "ok, so how does my machine look up a domain name with no DNS. "
Answer : "Did you install it as Administrator?"
This is why, some people should be fired from their jobs and never allowed to work anywhere on this planet ever again.
