I'm trying to help my brother connect his PS3 to his PC ... but wow, nothing is friggen easy and auto nowadays!

I've decided to change to manual settings (since this worked on my Xbox at home), but on earth is a DNS *blush*? What number do I put there?

If the Xbox won't use Internet, you can safely leave out DNS.

Otherwise you can use openDNS's servers :
