Do not waste your money by buying a Dlink 300T adsl modem. I had two of them, both gave endless problems. The software upgrades supplied by Dlink does not work properly, so firmware upgrades are almost impossible - not even the resellers can manage do these upgrades. :eek:

I am now the proud owner of a Linksys ADSL modem, this unit runs without any issues, no firmware upgrades are required, because it ships with the latest software preinstalled. Same price as dlink, but MUCH better. :)

On a more serious note. The 300t is imo a very solid modem it works great i haven't had a days trouble with it! It also runs some version of *nix, so you can ssh into it and check ip rules, even if it only is a pure modem! frimware upgrdes was also a easy task, loaded mine with the adsl 2+ frimware.

The web interface does suck it was voted one of the worst interfaces but that is a dlink issue across the board.
