Android 9(LineageOS), with Truecaller .
Xiaomi Mi 5, rooted/+ using Magisk modules.
Have set to receive calls/sms from "Starred" contacts [when Do Not Disturb is enabled], BUT no sms sound come with sms, only notification light.
Every other sms app that I have tested, HAS the sms sound come through.
Anybody have this experience?
Cannot find any setting under Truecaller that can fix this.
I have also tried various Do Not Disturb apps, even paid app like "Silence Premium", but still no sound with sms.
I have looked into automating the default sms app setting to change to another sms app during DND time, but programmatically, with something like Tasker, it seems you need to have serious coding skills............
