Ok maybe not a great topic to be started by the guy who almost had eggs laid inside him by a fly but :

Is it necessary to bath/shower every day? Alot of people think not but to many others the idea of going a day without having a shower is disgusting.

Sometimes I choose to shower the night before instead of in the morning and a few people find that repulsive!

The way I see it is : unless you're working in a mine (or any other physically intensive job), playing sports/gym then you don't need to bathe daily. Why would someone sitting in an air-conditioned office all day need to shower every day?

But then again, some people are genetically predisposed to smell bad, in which case you should shower daily.

The chemistry of each person's skin is different, so showering ever day may not be as damaging to some people as it would be to others. Still, you might want to skip a shower every once in a while.

NB: I do shower daily, sometimes the night before.

:erm:

yep i shower everyday in the morning, have recently started showering in the evening after gym too as i am very sweaty.

regardless of whether i shower in the night i shower in the morning as it helps me wake up and feel fresh.

Yip, shower at night after Gym, like to sleep in the morning so rarely shower early.

I find that if I don't shower at night, I don't sleep well - sinus.

I tend to shower most mornings in winter, but in summer its each morning.

I shower twice a day, before work and before bed.

Cannot handle the thought of working or sleeping feeling all dirty and in this heat i could shower 3 times a day if i took a lunch break.

You should shower once in summer, and not so often in winter...

Showering at least once a day is a requirement. I'm pretty sure a bunch of people at the office dont shower everyday and you can smell sweat. Its truly disgusting.

Also, how does a person get into bed dirty from a days sweat and dust. I dont get into my bed unless I have a shower.

Yes PLEASE. Regardless of what activities you perform or how active you are during the day, the accumulative stink of sweat, even if you can't smell it on yourself, repulses those around you.

Keep it clean.

I don't get that either, you keep sleeping in your own dirt for days until you change the bedding. Shower before bed and in the morning as it wakes me up properly :D

Exhaustion. To the point where you can't hold a thought, and your eyes won't stay open any longer.

I'll sometimes skip a day on weekends depending what I'm doing, but otherwise I don't like smelling sweaty.
