Do you gamble?

i have been to the casino with my brother and my friend but have to say i have no clue what i'm doing. i played the machines when i went with my brother and all the 7's came up. the dern thing made so much noise i ran away from the machine. luckily my brother was on the next machine. i don't like attention drawn to me. so he stood by the machine and the attendant came and did what they do.

the next time i went with my friend and played cards. something to the effect of being dealt 2 cards and you have to have 21. i didn't know what i was doing, so when i saw the dealer splitting the cards, i was dealt 2 of a kind or the dealer was dealt 2 of a kind and i reached over and split the cards myself. i didn't know i wasn't allowed to touch them cards LOL. i didn't lose any money at that game. i still don't have a clue till today how the game worked hahahahaha.
 
I don't gamble at all. Not lotto, not casino's, not anything.

Gambling is a tax on people that are bad at maths. The house always wins.
 
No I don't cause I know I'll get addicted. I once went to the casino in GTA San Andreas and completely forgot the other missions.

Its how i play blackjack and I was awesome at it and won in a single night R35 000 from R2500 :D.

And its not gambler's ruin. when I lose I start at my minimum bet again.

but agh i dont bother about gambling ....
 
Not against the house. I only play poker. The house gets it's 5% or whatever, but you're playing against other people and there is a large element of skill involved.
 
I dont anymore but i pocketed R300 000 :D , actually won way more than that. I bought 12 watches and designer clothes that were stupidly priced.... lotsa stuff. Its my favourite braai story lol. I stopped because the casino thought I was cheating, and they "serviced" all their roulette tables and I started losing so I never went back. I put my 300k in the bank to earn some interest :) , besides R300k in cash is not something I like to have in my house lol

I tried roulette by just playing black or red & just double bet if I loose.
Won about R550 this way, but never tried again, took about 90mins. Way too long.

I played both. Most I ever won on roulette though in a single go was about R9000. I sometimes would build up a bank roll for blackjack playing roulette because of the high odds. Or sometimes I would play roulette after black jack. Or if I lost in either game Id just go home. Who said you can only play one game at a casino? lol

oh the R300k accumalated over time. I didnt win R300k in a single go lol

Shame. R300k from a casino is chump change, Ive seen people walk out with cheques. The asians especially, these guys walk out with millions in a single night.

Besides you an idiot saying "no offense" then making a statement "you talk kak" clever guy must say. I bet you think that board on roulette that shows the history of the roulette spin is there for your use isnt ?

Never gamble a lot. R300-R500 at a time and I think I have gamble a sum total of 7 times in my life.
 
Never been a Fan of gambling. there are Bette ways to burn your Money...
 
I find the biggest problem with a casino and its how they get you to keep coming back is the way they treat you... Which is like a king

pfft, only in the prive section, otherwise its cattle class all the way, similar to airlines.
Don't go that much these days, but won a decent enough amount once, hit one of these rolling jackpots that they don't appear to have anymore, so no point in really going. Loved online poker but don't play since they made it illegal even though there are still sites you can play at, do miss that.
