Do you have a Bucket List?

"Here, hold my beer and check this **** out" <-- you will often here this in Kempton Park, following a tragic death by someone smashed out of his mind but too stupid to realizing that to play chicken with an oncoming truck without a truck yourself is a bit.... dumb
OMW! ...no comment...
...just lay off the jeezuz juice...

Or should I dumb i down some more?
No. No, I don't think you can...

:)

I can like to spoke fa ignland aight?

LOL... having not actually lived in Kempton for a while now, is there some sort of stereotype I'm missing out on? :D

Not really, but I would like to visit every continent.

I missed out on a 13month expedition to Antarctica to study the effect of solar flairs on radio communication with my one lecturer's team :(

Nope, but I will consider compiling one in the not too distant future.

Awesome!

Want to do that next year. How much is it costing you roughly?
It's very expensive, much more so than I had anticipated originally, but I'm sure it'll be well worth it. With the rand strengthening it's getting a bit better.

I'm currently looking at around R30k, just for me. That breaks down into about R8k of gear, R2k of tips for porters and R20k for the climb. We're going to Zanzibar afterward for a few days, that adds roughly another R10k into the mix. So the trip so far looks like it'll cost me around R40k altogether, and that's if I don't buy the new camera I so desperately want to take along.

Be sure to start a thread about your trip.
I think there's a lot of peeps who are interested in doing that.
